“This is our third time ordering a Cochinillo, and I must be honest—I’m very disappointed this time, particularly with the delivery. I always schedule my delivery carefully to ensure someone is home to receive it and so it arrives exactly when I need it. Unfortunately, the parcel did not arrive on the specified delivery date, despite paying extra for timed delivery. As a result, I had to cancel several appointments the following day—appointments I had already paid for—just so I could stay home to receive the parcel and prepare the meat. While the delivery fee has been refunded, this does not compensate for the inconvenience or the money I lost due to those cancellations. According to the DPD tracking, they did not receive the product on time, yet Basco’s customer service advised that this was the courier’s fault. Going forward, it would be much better to ensure items are dispatched on time. If delays occur, customers should be proactively updated, and appropriate compensation should be offered for the inconvenience caused.”
