Spanish goat's cheese croquetas are a world away from frozen potato affairs. These hand-made croquetas are made with a thick bechamel made from local milk, hand-rolled and coated in breadcrumbs, using local goat's cheese. They make a perfect tapas or pintxos, deep fry from frozen in medium hot oil until golden brown on the outside, or shallow fry in small batches until a lovely, crunchy golden colour for 3-5 minutes. Come frozen in trays of 12 croquetas of approx. 40g each. Cook from frozen.

“I was initially a bit dubious about these as I'm not a fan of cooked goats' cheese as a rule but these are absolutely gorgeous and very, very more-ish. The goats' cheese gives a lovely cheesy. delicate flavour and the consistency of the interior is perfect. My brother has fallen in love with these and they will now be a staple in our freezer. Only criticism I have is the crumb, which is a bit too fine and compact for my taste but that is just what I am used to when I make croquetas at home (I use something in between the consistency of a fine breadcrumb and panko).”

“Arrived in a cool box with reusable cold packs (for picnics or lunch boxes, fab idea!) Cook from frozen and ready in about 8/10 mins. Delicious and although the Jamon were out of stock, these made a decent substitute. We also had the Porcini but these were my favourite as the goat cheese was obvious but not overpowering. Held well whilst cooking and a gorgeous crumb. Generous amount in pack, 4 per person worked out a decent tapas/starter. Once these are gone, I'll be back for more!”
