These truffled "mini-salami" style sausages are delicious. To be honest, I bought them mainly because I also wanted to order some fresh Black Summer Truffles which BASCO were doing at an amazingly good price (£26.40 for 100g). However, I also love good charcuterie, and the Fuet does not disappoint. At a perfect level of maturity, these are frim bit "giving", not hard like an old salami, or gooey like one that has not hung for long enough. Simply perfect condition, and a lovely, gently truffled flavour. So far, my ONLY problem is - I make a few thin slices, and by the time I've been to get some salad or whatever, I appear to have eaten them up already. Om nom nom! So I ended up on my first occasion, using nearly half one of these, just to "try" to get half a dozen slices for a lunch salad! Delicious, and will definitely be ordering again. Oh and PS, BASCO's fresh Summer Truffles were amazingly good too!
