Read Basco Fine Foods Reviews

Arturo Sánchez's Jamón Ibérico de Bellota is a gastronomic jewel, crafted with dedication and tradition since 1917. Each piece is unique, resulting from the finest raw material, free-range Iberian pigs, and natural curing in Guijuelo's cellars. The pigs live in dehesa fields for two years, feeding on acorns for optimal nutritional properties. Afterward, the ham undergoes a minimum of 48 months' curing in natural drying sheds, enhancing its rich flavor. Every day is a challenge, and only deep knowledge and experience can ensure a truly exceptional product.

A good depth of flavour. Definitely needs taking out of the fridge well before you plan to eat it

This is our 3rd (multiple) purchase of this particular item. Needless to say we absolutely love it! The biggest problem we have is how moreish it is! Anyone who knows about Bellota Ham will understand this! The melt in your mouth factor is just sublime and the rich flavour is simply exquisite. These guys at Basco definitely deliver high quality food at prices that are competitive given the high costs of this particular delight. Hence why we keep coming back.

Maybe not prepping correctly found it not quite as tender and not as thinly cut, as in tapes bars in Spain, in saying that the flavour is superb. Hasn't stopped me buying again.

Excellent quality Iberico de bellota! Leave it at room temperature for half an hour and then it melts into your mouth. Complex taste, with clear hints of acorn. Loved it!
