“Picking up the day boat was fine but within 5 minutes realised there was no water coming out of the sink tap. Checked the toilet sink, same problem. Plus noticed the toilet/ sink had not been cleaned from previous customers. So, no water, dirty loo, we headed back. The boat had apparently had pump issues which had been fixed. No one thought to check the water tank had been filled, water was flowing or check the toilet had been cleaned. Had to wait 30 minutes to have these issues resolved. Other than that we had a nice trip!!”

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry — this one was definitely our mistake.
The boat had recently had an issue with the water pump which had been repaired, but we should then have checked that the water tank was filled and everything was flowing properly before the boat went back out. The toilet area should also have been cleaned and checked before your arrival.
We appreciate how frustrating it must have been to set off, only to have to turn around again five minutes later and then wait while we put things right. On very busy days mistakes can occasionally happen, but these are checks we should have completed before handing the boat over.

“We hired a boat for a half-day and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were polite, friendly, and took the time to explain everything we needed to know about the boat. They also gave us great advice on where we could comfortably reach within our time frame.
We had a wonderful day cruising along, passing beautiful riverside properties and spotting plenty of wildlife. We finished our trip by stopping at one of the lovely riverside pubs for lunch before heading back.
It was a fantastic day out, and we’ll definitely be returning again very soon. Highly recommended!”

“Nice young man booked us in however as he was a lone worker and trying to deal with everyone we didn't feel enough information was given, eg how to put on life jacket, workings of the boat and no map or discussion about possible routes. Lack of instruction caused us to call for assistance as we couldn't restart the boat after mooring. Cupboard was full of the previous days rubbish. Not impressed!”
