Boat was very good in condition and overall.
Initially we went for a 4hr self drive trip but due to the detour we were 45 min late and the guide was nice enough to not charge us extra so I think it was a good deal and service”

It’s great to hear the boat and overall experience hit the mark. On this occasion, we were happy to be flexible when you returned a little late, but just so others are aware, we do usually need to charge for additional time if a trip runs over – particularly if it impacts the next booking heading out.
We always recommend allowing a little extra time for unexpected detours (they do tend to happen on the Broads!) so everyone can enjoy a relaxed trip without watching the clock.

“Had a nice trip on the water. But a series of errors occurred, relateted to an mechanical error on the boat. The accelerater lever seemingly to me was stuck. Not able to go faster thalli 3mph. I tried to push the lever beyond the point resistance, I was felt that I could snap the cable connection. I should have returned about 15 minutes info the trip, my error, for not making that decision, I Continued with the trip. Losing trap if time of my 4hour hire. Only travelling to Hortning. 3hours late. The yard man was informed of the problem. I misstep entrance to the Staithe . Turning around assistant soon I saw the bridge. At that point I became anoid with control, slammed the lever beyond the resistance. A crack sound then then i had more accelatuon. The boat yard man exsamed the boat and boridgately said that there was nothing wrong. Tried tell him the full details, that i released the accelerater, but wasn't not allowed to do so. In an abridganant continued to interupt me and saing it was my fault.No problem having to with pay the late fee. Enjoy our river trip though dispute the problem with accelerater lever problem”
