“Very enjoyable day on the broads having hired a Brinklet from Barnes Brinkcraft. Sailed to Horning where we enjoyed a pub lunch and couple of drinks. Barnes team were helpful and are very reasonably priced! Would definitely recommend booking with them!”
“Arrived at the office and got two parking spaces at no charge and after a quick overview of the boat and its controls from the friendly man we soon made our way onto the broads. We had been given some suggestions of where to stop and both where really nice with easy mooring points. Always our favourite activity during a trip to Norfolk as its great for the whole family and really helps to unwind with the slow meandering of the boat. Some cheeky ducks joined our trip for a short time and hitched a ride on the roof. Pick up some food at one of the riverside cafes if you have children on board as the ducks and swans come near to retrieve it.”
“We hired our boat early in the season, on a Thursday afternoon, so not a busy time. Our welcome and guide to the boat was very friendly. The boat is basic, which is a plus for novices like us. It was a chilled ride for the two of us with our dogs. I can recommend mooring at the swan inn pub, it's on the river, and beautiful inside and out. We booked our boat for three hours, we actually arrived early, but we're allowed out pretty much straight away, coming back at our booked time. Definitely this would be a lasting memory for kids, and you could let them drive, which they'd love.”
“Hired a boat without reservation on 18/4 during the afternoon. The experience was excellent , as was the help of the gent on charge during the mid afternoon hours or last Saturday.
Super friendly and helpful staff member certainly added to the experience and I thought the boats were well maintained and guidance clear.”
“The person working could not have done anymore, but he was working alone and this meant we got on the boat 30 minutes late.
More staff required.
When we suggested coming back 30 minutes later to get our full 2 hours, he said it wasnt an option as the boat was needed for someone else. When we got back there were several boats moored, ive no doubt we could have stayed out unnoticed.
We enjoyed our little trip, shame it was cut short”
