I ordered 4 of these chairs. Upon receiving delivery 3/4 were damaged which was really disappointing. There was scuff marks on various legs, rips in the fabric, and overall was not fit for its purpose. I then had to contact the customer service , send pictures and organise 3 new chairs to replace the damaged ones. When I was trying to organise with barker and stonehouse a new delivery date they were not accommodating at all. They don’t deliver weekends I couldn’t pick a morning or afternoon slot it had to be an 8am-8pm slot. Resulting in this I had to take my own time out to drop the 3 damaged chairs off at a local store so then I could change the delivery address from the first address as they couldn’t accommodate the delivery time. Baring in mind I am living between 2 households at the moment and buying a new house for me barker and stone house we’re not accommodating for this. After all this stress I then organised for 3 new chairs to be delivered. Unfortunately after receiving these 2/3 we’re damaged again same condition, rips on fabric and scuff marks on legs. After first purchasing these chairs at the beginning of January by this point it was the end of January and I still didn’t have a complete set of 4 dining chairs. I then had contact barker and stonehouse again to discuss how we were going to replace yet again another damaged chair for a new one. Barker and stonehouse then offered me a £25 refund and for me to Keep the damaged chair. I was very shocked at this offer as the chairs were £125 each and they wanted to refund me £25 and pay £100 for a damaged good. I think this is unacceptable when paying a lot of money for so called high end quality product. For me I felt barker and stonehouse kept sending me ex display items and trying to get away with it because the state of the chairs in my opinion would not of passed a quality control check. I then had to organise yet again another delivery date to replace the last and final damadged chair for a new one. Only mid feb have I now got a full set of the Hix dining grey chairs and to say the least the experience has been awful. I then contacted barker and stone house and requested my £30 delivery charge I had paid as it seemed pretty unfair for me to pay this when every delivery was a disaster and I had to drop the damaged chairs off at a local store . Barker and stonehouse did refund me this but only because I had asked . From this situation I feel barker and stone house were not bothered about customer care and didn’t go above and beyond so I am really disappointed. I couldn’t find any other dining room chairs with light grey legs because believe me I would not of choose barker and stonehouse for chairs if another shop provided some.

Lovely quality product. Bought in clearance as I only needed one, exactly what I needed
