“I ordered nearly two weeks before Christmas. When I noticed the Friday before Christmas they hadn’t been dispatched I called to ask why. I was told they weren’t sure of the problem but they would be dispatched immediately. They were in fact dispatched on the Monday before Christmas. Meaning the whole process of making the Panettone couldn’t happen before Christmas. The cases themselves are great, but the service leaves a lot to be desired!”
“The case held its form perfectly during baking without a tin - I just placed it on a baking sheet. The quality is good: the case has a slightly waxy feel and doesn't stick to the panettone, unlike the paper I've seen on small ones from cafe chains. It gives it a really professional look to your baking. It's got tiny perforations in it, and I found that some of the butter seemed to leak out of the dough and through thej holes during baking. I'd definitely recommend them, especially as they really do dispense with the need for a proper panettone tin.”
