“This is lovely, it feels like you are truly buying British manufacturing at its best. It is heavy and durable and baked a fantastic orange loaf, which fell out after baking. The tin itself is a really good 1lb size and bakes a nicely shaped loaf. The tin still looks like brand new. My favourite.”
“Batch of four loaves going into the small oven, but this time one in the new tin, and just three as the usual crusty job. No preconditioning - quick rinse and dry as per the instruction leaflet that comes with it, a wipe of oil, portion of dough, and into the oven. Same baking time as usual, loaf drops out perfect. This could convert me to tin-baking - it really does make a cracking loaf with a very nice crust all round and absolutely no bother. Cleans up with a quick wipe over; by the second usage you can hardly tell it's been used. A lovely solid piece of kit it's a pleasure to handle.”
“If I had found these tins when I started to make bread over 15 years ago, I would have saved myself a fortune. From £30 le creuset to £7 traditional double coated/ master class non stick tins, I've tried and chucked loads.
These are the best. Great heat transfer, so you get a good all round crust. No, so called non stick to peel off after 2 or 3 months. Just a quick spray of oil brushed around and that's it. I suppose I'll have to re season them every few months, but that's no problem. As a bonus, my family swear blind my loafs now taste better. Of course, I'm taking all the plaudits and keeping them in the dark about these crackers.”
“The courier service managed to loose our delivery, however, Bakery Bits were very understanding and replaced our order immediately. The second delivery (different courier) arrived within 24 hours. I can highly recommend Bakery Bits without hesitation.”
