This chick pea flour is from shelled chickpeas, not the whole seed. I bought it to make pakoras which are crisp because of the seed coat in the flour

Good product, but 9 days shelf life is too short for this type of ingredient

I used to blitz dried chickpeas in a thermo mix to make panisse, this excellent product saves me a lot of work. Please note gram flour is not chickpea flour, and has a completely different flavour

I'm still working out which farinata recipe to use for a more "crepe" like / socca-like result.

So pleased to find this flour as no other food website has the Italian version only the Indian Gram flour. It made a lovely socca/farinata with rosemary.

Last week I used the Mulino Marino gram (chickpea) flour to make an oven baked soft flatbread, and it was superb. The flour is beautifully milled and has a sweet bean flavour. Definitely better than other gram flours I have used in the past. So the buckwheat, polenta, and chickpea from MM are all 5 star products.
