I’ve purchased these cake cases before and I’ve found they are a perfect size for cakes for my parents. I was baking the standard size cake but it was too much for them.

Does the job right. It has little holes for airing but I had to cover them with greeseproof paper to avoid the cake batter from leaking. Aside this, it's perfect! Will be buying more in the future.

Great for when I’m having a lazy day. Look good to use to give away as a gift. It’s made of sturdy card unlike cheaper options.

Not for me. Could be okay for some products, but I am using it for an enriched dough with a butter filling, Because of the vent holes inside the case, all the butter leaks out leaving a soggy bottom.

I ended up making 8 loaf-shaped Christmas cakes. One 400g loaf panibois will take enough mixture to make a 1000g loaf cake and it stores very well. My friends are full of praise for the container and full of requests for cakes. After Christmas, I will order more.

I used them for baking sweet bread. It baked beautifully in them and the boxes are terrific to gift. Very happy with the purchase

Bakery Bits are a fantastic company, very friendly and helpful with some brilliant kit. Unfortunately these loaf cases aren't so good. I bought them to replace worn non-stick loaf tins to make Borodinsky bread at my school. This is a shocker of a mix that sticks to everything. It sticks to these loaf cases too, to the extent that I needed a knife to cut the case away from the bread. I have gone back to my old tins, fully lined with greaseproof which works well, it's just a bit of a faff I was hoping to avoid. Maybe they would be fine for cakes, but the fact is that standard greaseproof paper works for Borodinsky and these cases do not.
