The T 55 flour had a nice texture. I used half lard half butter.The Self raising is great even with dried fruit added to the mix.

I have used Matthews flour before and I like the quality, in my experience it makes for excellent baking results.

Both the plain and self-raising flour are of high quality and my cakes and pastry come out tasting lovely. My weekly quiche recipe is a pleasure to cook and eat using the plain flour. Both flours have become part of my kitchen staples. Thank you Bakery bits for your quick and speedy delivery and having such a variety of flours to choose from.
