“I have previously tried 2 different kinds of lame before going back to a simple Stanley knife blade. The previous versions of a lame just did't give me a clean cut. This one does, very very easily. Without a shield for the blade you do need to be careful how to store it to avoid accidents or damage to the blade (Mine lives on it's own up-ended in the slot of a piggy bank). Being a recent purchase, I can't say how long it will stay sharp either, but clearly, at such a cheap price, it could be replaced relatively frequently and not break the bank. I would recommend it without reservation!”
