My old timer had broken and having read reviews about the Bakery Bits timer I decided to buy one. I am absolutely delighted with my purchase. Yes, it was more expensive than others but it is well worth the money. It's very easy to use, just press the minute button and start and count down begins in mins and seconds on a very clear faceThe buzzer is loud enough to hear in another room. After countdown it starts to count up again so you can see how many more mins/secs have gone when you stop it which is useful. It also times hours and mins by pressing the little switch on the back. To stop it press the start/press button and to clear the face press the hour and min buttons at the same time. It uses an AA battery which is supplied and as I always have these in stock it I will be able to change it easily- much better than one of the many button batteries which usually mean a trip to the shops to buy one. I wish I had found one of these timers years ago.

Versatile timer, easily set to count hours and minutes or minutes and seconds. Good positive buttons and an alarm loud enough to rouse you from even your most favourite soap opera! I strongly recommend this timer.

I really like this timer. The display is very clear, and the buttons are very easy to operate. Not least, it is jut a case of pressing one button if you want to repeat a particular timing ( for example, if you want to 'stretch and fold' every 30 minutes), or two buttons together to clear.
