“Took the plunge and purchased a grown up loaf pan. Have used twice now - only 1 loaf per baking, instead of the 2 2lb pans I used for years. My 1kg flour recipe worked just fine. I baked the loaf for 40 minutes at R7 which is the max. temp recommended by the manufacturer. That surprised me somewhat since most loaves need R8 - but hey ho! Came out perfectly. I will replace my 2lb pans with another 4lb without hesitation. I am limited to the weight of dough I can mix at any one time though - I usually bake bread twice a week according to demand. Very pleased with the pan and need not have worried about the recipe”
