I had previously bought a basket from a different source. What turned up was a very poorly made cheap item that I returned. The basket I bought from BB however is just perfect for an experimental home baker. Thank you

Hi, great website and service, my first order turned up as expected. I asked a question of Vanessa and received an answer. Bread making is not the easiest hobby I have taken up, particularly with regard to sourdough. There are so many conflicting recipes and I haven't found one yet that suits me. What might be helpful to add to your website is reasons things go wrong - lack of rise, too many large air pockets, oil or flour etc. There are only so many times that things go wrong that after a while I will give up. This of course won't help your sales and the money spent on bannetons and lame etc was for nothing. Hope this is constructive and will help others. Meanwhile I will keep on looking for a method that suits me! Regards, David
