“This is an excellent sounding amp that seems to get better the longer you have it. Great presence and sound stage. Nice tone, although to my ears should be paired with a more laid back pair of speakers. I found it a little fatiguing with my Klipsch. But to each their own. Still highly recommended.”
“I wanted to go with the SV737 or SV237 at 1st but the cabinet and space I have is too small. I then was gonna get the SAT7 preamp and add an Amp but then again it was the space where the equipment goes and on top of that the room is only 14x20. I looked at the SV500 a bunch of times before because the size of the chassis was perfect for the space but I ALWAYS steered away from it because it was only a 50 Watt amp. That's until I saw the review on YouTube that the Catalog mentioned in the 500 description and it made me start thinking differently since it's close to the 237 and the 50 watts is underated. I talked with Caleb and we decided it was worth a shot. Boy was I ever surprised by this little Big Vincent 500. It's perfect for me cause I love old school and this is so simple to use and enjoy unlike the big AV Yamaha receiver I had. A twist of the bass or treble knob either way for tuning makes it so easy and it sounds great. The 50 watts is VERY UNDERRATED! There is Plenty of Power and the digital inputs sound way better than the Yamaha. This old style tube input and Big toroidal Amp makes a difference and the sound is really nice and can get loud without trying. It's Awesome and Overall for the money the 500 is Excellent :+1:”

“Picked up the Vincent SV-500 this afternoon. The amp has 4 hours logged in and sounds fantastic. To break it in I placed in a system where it displaced a $4000 integrated that I like very much. Did it come up short---hardly! The SV-500 is buttery smooth, dimensional, dynamic and just plain serves the music. It blows me away what great systems can be assembled for so little these days.
Credit German engineering that holds sometimes questionable Chinese execution accountable. If that was not enough, the unit looks great to boot.

“I'm confident that this is a decent amp that would satisfy many folks. For my tastes it did not have quite the sound staging ability or transparency I'd hoped for, and in these respects did not match the amp in the same price point I did side by side comparison with. Also, I was looking for a bit more tube warmth than this provided. It actually seemed pretty neutral and unexciting to me. For these reasons I returned the product. Audio Advisor was fine to deal with- no complaints there.”
“Don't let the modest power ratings dissuade you. This thing rocks. Beautifully liquid, punchy sound, with golden edges that compels. Using this with a bluesound node 2i connected to the analog inputs, and a tv through the toslink, my 4ohm Wharfedale 85th Denton's sound perfect. I could not ask for more. I rarely turn the volume above 10oclock to get high impact room filling sound.”
