“I know Vincent is not a leading brand like Denon, Rotel, Yamaha or Cambridge, but chose this amp anyway because of the tubes. Six months now and the amp has not disappointed me. Its would is soft and silky - exactly what I like - but can get hard and fierce when that is called for. Construction is first rate. The machine runs cool and I never notice excessive heat from the tubes. I would recommend to anyone who loves music!”
“This amp is sooo easy to recommend. Got it for my wife's office system with a pair of Monitor Audio Silver 1 compacts. She streams music from her desktop from Padora, Tidal, and iTunes and was listening to a set of AudioEngine speakers. This amp sounds amazing! The midrange is so natural and well balanced it just begs you to turn it on. The wife is very happy and so am I. Highly Recommended.”
“The SV500 is a real price-performance winner for all who appreciate a wide range of music styles. Music sound very convincingly real and highly coherent. Bass range is delivered with impact and depth - more than I expected for the price. Tonal balance is very neutral and has just the right balance for me. USing with Bryston Mini T large bookshelf monitor speakers, but the amp is not embarrased when mated with my older KEF towers. My summary is: Very good for the price.”
“Having entered the audiophile field in the early 70's, I decided the Vincent SV-500 would be my first integrated, and I am so pleased that I did purchase this unit. My Krell amp, with a separate high-end tube preamp, were recently replaced by this unit. I no longer listen to vinyl, and the Vincent gives the flexibility of FLAC, optical TV, Sonos, and other devices, as well as having a built-in DAC. While it doesn't have as broad and deep a soundstage as an amp/preamp costing many times more money, it is a remarkable and very satisfying combo. It has tremendous bass control and the flexibiltiy of contouring your sound when it needs to be neighbor friendly. Vincent has done a remarkable job with this integrated amp, regardless of the price. When the price is considered, it is amazing! From an old audiophile hooked on separates for most of my life, I believe that this is the way of the future: a true solid state/tube preamp combination that give a great amount of flexibility with modern source material.”
