I tried every way possible and I believe I got a “Carbon” cover and not one for the Pro-Ject “RM-1.3 Genie” TT. You all kindly authorized a return and I am in the process of that now, thank you.

The cover fits nicely over the turntable. It's a little unwieldy, and you'll have to go slow and be very careful not to hit the turntable taking it off and definitely putting it back. I just sight the motor side and the back when I put it back, and I have no trouble. DO NOT try to put it back after a few shots of whiskey. Best to leave it until the stuff's worn off.

Just perfect! We're well designed. I like the space for your fingers on the sides, and for the wires in the back. Definitely recommended! Just wish it was a bit cheaper for what it is.

It seems to do well ............... it just sits on the phono, and of course, catches dust. What else can I say ??

This is a simple, light green cover for the turntable. I don't see what the cut outs are for unless they are for the cable.

From Jeff @ Pro-Ject USA: There are two cutouts on the the sides of the cover to allow you to lift it- there's a third cutout in the bottom back of the cover to allow for cables You can get a pretty good view in the photos on our website here: https://pro-jectusa.com/product/cover-it-rpm-1-3-carbon/ The light green you are seeing may be the protective film wrap which you can peal off.
