“I'd give it a 5 if the corners were bonded together, but they're not, which makes it a little flimsy. Otherwise, nice dust cover for my Rega P8.”
“I bought this to cover a different turntable. It is a perfect fit for the Rega RP-18/10 without the outer frame of the turntable in place. And it is less tha half the price of any other cover for those tables. There is one design flaw that might bother some people, but it is not worth double the price. The vertical corners are not sealed. Its made from a single piece of acrylic that has had all four sides formed downward but they have not been "glued" together. There is some play in them because of this, but not enough to be any sort of a problem. Other wise it is very well made and sturdy. It has already saved my $2000 cartridge form cat damage.”
“Just an addition to Mark A's comment a bit ago. The green is a peel off material to protect the cover. I was inform by Brian (Advisor). Peel the green protective film from the cover (inside & out) and you'll have a clear remarkable looking cover.”
“The dust cover was available at a lower price than the OEM. I found out why when I received the item. It is cheap, and it looks like it was made in a high school shop class. The material feels cheap and the color is an unusual green. Mine arrived with scratches on all sides, likely from the manufacturing processes. It's great that some high school kids are learning how to use machine tools. It's not great that I paid $100 for this thing. Previously I knew nothing about Audio Advisor. Now I know everything I need to know. If AA does an exchange for me, I will consider an upgrade in my rating. Otherwise, I should have paid for the part from Pro ject”
