Some of us have a serious ‘table and feel more confident if there is an extra-thick platform under it for support and stability. TBH the original top that came with the stand was super strong but this is best for me.”
“I finally got around to reviewing this. Who reviews a shelf? Right? I do because I wanted a chunkier top shelf than came with Vulcan and not just that it is stronger. I like how it looks enough different from the standard shelf that I can notice the different. I wish it came in all the finishes but I happened to have the carbon fiber version of the Vulcan anyways. And who can argue with the price?”
