“I own an OLD Target TT5T rack upstairs, in my 'big rig'. It's got a 100 lbs of gear on it...it does NOT MOVE. They don't make 'em like that anymore. But this little unit is pretty darn close, stability wise! I got this for a little bedroom system I'm putting together. Impeccably packaged, it arrived muy pronto. The instructions are highly self explanatory-no text needed. Took all of 30 minutes to get it assembled and leveled. The Rosenut has very rich and warm overtones that complements my room nicely. The more albums you put in the bottom, the steadier it gets, so LOAD IT UP. If you're using it as a headphone only system like I am, bolt the Pangea Headphone hanger on the middle shelf, on the side. Very slick. This is the optimal height. You can add more shelves, but I bet it won't be as rock steady as it is now. My Music Hall MMF 2.2 looks very elegant, perched on the top shelf, and it sounds better too. Highly recommended.”
“My 46-lb. turntable can slide around a little too easily on its platform, scuffing up its sonic saucers helped a bit, but a rougher finish on the platform would be better. There's a little too much play in one of the X-braces crosspoint, some electrical tape damped the rattle almost enough, still seeking a better solution. There wasn't enough clearance on the LP shelf for my box set of Schnabel's Beethoven Sonatas, but it fits better in another area anyway. The rosenut looks nice.”
