“These are nicely made spades that fit both 1/4 & 5/16 inch binding posts securely with very little tightening effort. I was afraid that these spades might look too massive on my smaller 1/4 binding posts but they look just fine, just as they do on my larger 5/16 inch binding posts. It's nice to have quality cooper connectors instead of plated brass. The cooper sounds more pleasant to me than brass.”
“I used these Pangea Spade Bits in a bi-wire fashion to replace my lost speaker shorting bars. I used twin 6â€� length 14AWG copper speaker wires in each spade bit pairing and they worked flawlessly. The spades are gold plated copper that are equipped with two set screws that offer a very secure mechanical grip connection. My Polk LS-70's speakers have never sounded so good. I would recommend “heat shrinkâ€� to provide stress relief to the cable/spade junction. Highly recommended!”
