Pangea Audio LS300 Speaker Stand - 20-Inch - All-Steel - Black - Pair Reviews

4.6 Rating 183 Reviews
The stands are very attractive, the sound is excellent, they are not very stable with larger speakers. I have older Domus III speakers and they are fairly unstable. Also I did not receive any isolation discs for the feet. The pins are directly on my hardwood floors.

Thank you for your comments. This stand does not come with cone point discs. They can be purchased separately here: https://www.audioadvisor.com/prodinfo.asp?number=AASONIC

Sturdy and solid. I filled 2 legs on each with BBs (under 22 caliber size will fit, mine were .17) to stabilize even more and potentially reduce resonances. I have heavy LCR speakers, 25 lbs. apiece, not mini monitors or tiny satellites and feel totally confident in the stands. I wish there was a small hole in the plates for a small screw to go into the bottom of the speakers for extra security, but not enough to detract from my review. Can't go wrong.

I upgraded from wood speaker stands to these metal stands. The Pangea are much more stable and heavier which helps stabilization. The base stand was sufficiently heavy for me - not requiring additional steel pellets. Also went for the 6x9 tops which fit my speakers better. Constructing the stand was a little cumbersome but I got around my problems by installing the top plates on first, then the support columns second. Things aligned better this way. Overall very happy with the results and better sound staging of my system.

I ordered this size stand specifically because it comes with both 6"x6" and 6"x9" top mounting plates, while all the other heights do not (I really need the larger size). The order I received came with only one of each, so now I have to try to get the missing parts or return the whole thing.

These are well designed stands. They are rock solid. I have hardwood floors and did not wish to use the included point stands. I elected to purchase rubber feet with a metric thread stud. One of the tapped holes (8-1.25mm) was damaged. Possibly weld spatter prevented threading the foot into the hole. I had to run a tap drill and tap through the hole to avoid shipping it back. I bought the larger 6"X9" top plate for my speakers. Even with the "boogered" thread I would still buy again.

Sorry for the bad threading on your stand.

The stands were well packaged, easy to assemble, very sturdy, and they provide an excellent platform for my small speakers. Highly recommended.

I am very happy with the Pangea stands and the little discs isolating them from the floor, resulting in better imaging and soundstage.
