“Excellent build quality and function, speaker wires can go inside the back support tube!! Nice and tidy. Great price and worth every penny just like the Pangea component rack I purchased from Audio Advisor.
Thanks

“I'm using them with my Elac Uni-Fi UB5 / BS U5 speakers. They are solidly built and do the job. I only have a couple of minor complaints. First, I wish the spikes where more outboard then they are to make them a bit more stable on hard floors. Second, if you have thick speaker cables with connectors installed, you may be hard-pressed to feed them through the legs. Overall though, they are great stands for the price and I'm happy with my purchase.”
Thank you for your comments. On the latest version of this speaker stand the spikes on the bottom plate have been moved to the outside of the bottom plate for great stability and the size of the hole in the third leg provided for routing your speaker cable has been increased to more easily accommodate bigger speaker cables.

“Well made, beautifully designed for bookshelf or small monitor speakers. Unlike massive stands that can overpower small speakers, the Pangea has just the right proportion. One of the supporting tubes has holes to pass the speaker cables through to hide them. I taped over the holes so the three tubes could be filled with sand. I found it was easier to fill each tube before assembly. I plugged one end with putty(Blue Tack), then filled the tube from the other end. I also sealed that end with putty. I didn't find a problem bolting the top and bottom plate through the putty. The putty also makes a good seal so sand does not leak out. Forget about using shot for fill unless you have the the patience to drop them one by one down the tubes, because the fill holes are actually the bolt holes used to attach the top and bottom plates. I paid $ 99. A great bargain for a quality product .”
“I have never seen it in person, no look and feel on the real product, other than reviewing and searching on internet. My thought was.... It's a pair of all steel stands, sold by AA, it shouldn't be too shady, right? It turned out to be much better than I expected. Here are the reasons: 1, it's very easy to assemble, it took me less than 30 mins to finish both. If you can do Ikea coffee table, then this should be an issue. Well, the instruction is OK but could be better. 2, it's solid, strong. I like the heavy base and fat tubes. There is very little moment and play. 3, they are bigger than they appear on internet. I ordered the 28" and use them for my newly purchased MartinLogan XT35 speakers. It's perfectly ear levelled while sitting on sofa. I didn't fill with sand, and if I did, it would be over killed for such small speakers. I highly recommend them.”
