“With a wine cork and some cardboard you can make these stands really good. 1 of the 3 support columns has a hole in the top and bottom for cable management. By cutting and painting a wine cork these can now be filled with sand like the other 2 supports which now provide vibration control and added support weight to columns. I capped each pillar with extra thick cardboard (that came in the well packed package) with a hole in center for screw attachment.Then filled each column with pool sand. Using Isolateit pods on top deck beneath speaker you now have a pretty amazing stand and it was under $150.”
“I didn't want to spend a lot on a pair of stands for a second system in my bedroom. But I wanted something attractive that would support my speakers securely. I'm totally satisfied with these Pangea LS300 stands, which I got in the 24 inch height. They are totally stable on my hardwood floor. The construction is excellent and assembly was easy. There may be better stands out there, but I really doubt they're THAT much better. Buy these without hesitation!”
