“I bought this pair of stands in order to use them together to hold a heavy Aperion Center speaker at this height. They were easy to assemble and I used the wide plates. Excellent. Highly recommended!!”
“I was able to use industrial velcro to attach the speaker to the stand after I assembled them and fill two of the tubes with sand. They are very sturdy and tip resistant without using the floor spikes even though I am on carpet. The floor spike would not got too deep which was the main reason that I did not use them since it lifted my speakers more than an inch off of the floor.”

I ordered the 28" and 36" stands to be used with small monitor. At the price of $100.00, I cannot think of a better stands for the money since these are 100% metal. As one of the reviewer indicated, the 36" stand is a bit tippy on carpet but I think this is the case with all tall stands especially on carpet. However, there are things can be done to the base of the tall stand to make it less tippy.”
“I bought speaker stands from Audio Advisor about ten years ago and they have survived a move and still do the job. And they are wood! These Pangea are sturdy metal. They assembled easily - famous last words right - but spend two minutes checking the tubes out. There are six in all two with holes for speaker cables. There is one size screw for the bottom and another for the top so its hard to accidentally screw it up or (my usual) start over. Only gotcha was on top. If you don't line up the tube with the hole in the plate right you might wonder why the screw won't seat. Find the center screw hole!! Nice sturdy stands. Your choice of spikes or rubber feet. Maybe after another ten years I'll give you an update. Recommended.”
“Shipped very quickly. Solid and easy to assemble. If you don't have children or pets, these shouldn't need any ballast. Good looking, especially (for my eye) turned 180 degrees from the images. The speakers sound better now that they're not sitting close to each other against the wall on a table.”
