“More power than I need, changed my whole attraction to music and electronics. Made my speakers sound smoother and punchy but not fatiguing. More bass and highs were softer. Details were clearer and more obvious. More refined. The whole musical presentation was fuller and deeper. This I hope will be my last amp.”
“I have owned the A23+ for about a month now and it’s getting played several hours daily, it’s a revealing amp that seems to show the recording for what it is , good material sounds great and mediocre material sounds mediocre. My preamp is the Parasound 200 pre and it seems to pair nicely with the A23+, there is a nice depth and sound stage and just a musicality to my system that is very easy to listen to for hours. I use a Project s2 dac with a WiiM music streamer and my speakers are AR 90s that are completely rebuilt and in mint condition, my room is treated too with sound dampening materials and l feel like l am getting the most out of my equipment. Overall l am content with the amp would recommend it for music lovers like me.”
“The Parasound A23+ powers my 4bohm surround sound speakers beautifully. The detail in movies moved to an entire new level relative to my previous power source.”
“This is a nice amplifier much better control and better Bass it uses FETs on the input, and Mosfets on the output
I find people returning this for it is not detailed and fleshed out , what they failed to do was fully runin in
It takes a Solid 200+ hours to truly open up thsts a pretty good size transformers and now over 50,000 uf
Of capacitance .Apatience is a must, and a little tip to get much more. Buy a Pangea AC9-SE power cord it will truly wake your amplifier up
The stock power cord is no good ,and buy a synergistic research 20 mm 8 amp slow blow fuse which makes a solid increases
Acrossthe board , if you want to get a Big bonus out of it ,this too applies to all amplifiers .”
“Too early to tell, but gives great detail and resolution. Sharp rhythmic uptake. Could give more richness to the upper base and midrange. Not at all mellow. All of this could change with more break in.”
