“You need to give this about 50 hours of break-in time before making a judgment, because it really opens up and smooths out vs straight out of the box. I'm using it to drive a pair of Elac Debut Reference DBR62 speakers that are very revealing of what you feed them. Running Tidal HiFi with well recorded music this is clean and tight with more power than I'm ever going to need.”

“Power Amp used to power MartinLogan ESL front speakers. Affordably priced, minimal bells/whistles, all features are practical, and has adequate power to facilitate two additional front speakers. ESLs seem to need more current to maximize the sound, and connecting these speakers to the power amp (instead of using channels on a Marantz SR6013) did seem like the bass and midrange frequencies were enhanced.

“I purchased this to use for the front channels for my AVR. With great anticipation I unplugged the older Onkyo unit I was using for front L/R and replaced it with the Parasound. Power things up and...I have a very bad hum front front L/R. What in the world?? So, I unplugged the Parasound and moved it to another room and connecting it to a McIntosh C29 pre-amp and a pair of AR9 speakers. Sounded wonderful! I moved the MC2105 amplifier to my AVR system and as with the Onkyo, no hum.
Now I learned all about Ground Loop interference. After swapping the amps back and rearranging AVR cables and plugs into same AC outlet; still had the hum. Unplugging either power or HDMI cable for the cable tv box eliminated the hum. I really didn't want to use the McIntosh amp with the AVR so my next option was buying a Ground Loop Isolater for Cable TV applications. Once I installed that on my cable tv line, no further hum. I have no idea why this unit would hum where the Onkyo did not but the isolator resolved the issue. Now I am exceedingly happy with this Parasound amplifier. Its performance has greatly enhanced my AVR systems sound.
