I like this company; great value for the price. I now own three products from them and like them all.

Speedy Delivery, arrived undamaged - - the NAD, as is often the case with anything NAD manufactures, exceeded my expectations for sound quality - - this is only a 3 hundred dollar player, regardless, imaging is excellent, reasonable sense of sound stage depth, certainly musical, in the CD sense - nope, it's not a multi buck turntable, arm and cartridge, but it definitely does not disappoint digitally speaking - - I recommend it to anyone looking for a player in this price range. Very little time on it - depth will probably improve with more burn in - the rest is as expected, very good bass, yes, I can hear "notes", not just "low end", decent extension in the highs, oddly, cymbals sound "reasonably" like cymbals, again, especially considering the price.

First CD player received did not work (could not read the disc). Called AA and got replacement and a return label. 2nd player worked as it should. I appreciate the service provided by AA.

I'll keep it simple, sounds great both optical and analog (I prefer the analog slightly), heavy weight, quick and accurate operation, no bells and whistles but does everything it needs to do with the base unit and remote. I find this to be a high quality CD player at an affordable price and would recommend it to anyone as a replacement or first time purchase.
