“The sound is detailed and open – my CDs sound great; especially the remastered ones.
All controls work smoothly and precisely. I had one glitch playing a homemade CD where the player suddenly thought it was playing MP3 files, but a restart fixed that. Programming is a little tedious, but easy once you do it a few times.
The automatic shutoff can be annoying, but it's a good idea and can be disabled.
