“This product was not in stock and took some time to receive. Installed it the day I received it. The wire to attach the antenna was only 3 feet so there were not many options with how this could be located. In trying to maximize the reception, I moved this around and found that the best reception was by a window but based on the short cord, I had to put the antenna on a separate small table close to the window to get the strongest reception. This is really not an acceptable location and even with locating the antenna in this manner, the reception is not strong enough to get some of the stations we were hoping to receive. Reception is certainly better than the small antenna I had before but is disappointing in that the lead to connect to the receiver would have been much better if it were twice the length and I were able to locate it closer to the window.”
Thank you for your comments. Sorry for the delay in delivering your order. MagnumDynalab also makes and better antenna, the ST-2 with higher gain. You can run a longer length coaxial cable to it.

“This is not my first SR100. When I first got into audio back in the late '80s, I was having trouble pulling in radio stations on my new NAD tuner. A friend of mine who introduced me to high-end audio recommended this bizarre looking antenna, which at the time I believe was around $25.00. I bought it, hooked it up, and was beyond amazed at its ability to pull in the most distant stations. At that point, I was sold.
In my new home, the stucco on the outside provides the perfect rf blanket. In Central Florida, where the FM band is saturated, I could only pull in 1 station. I reached out to Audio Advisor and bought another SR100. Now I am able to pull in every station except 3.
This is a tunable, bi-directional antenna. So you might have to extend or reduce the center leg and turn the antenna in a certain direction to get the stations you want, but for such a low price, I don't believe there is a better antenna for indoor use.”
“That is the difference of before I installed my SR100 and after I installed it. The difference is huge. The useless piece of wire masquerading as an FM antenna that came with my receiver is out of there. I think that I'll just cut it into segments and use them for wire twists. :-) You never know when you might need one!”
“Installing this antenna provided a major upgrade to my FM section. Previous to the Magnum Dynalab I was unable to listen to my favorite station in stereo mode. Installing this antenna provided for a much quieter stereo signal. My one quibble is the length of the leads to tie in to the tuner, they are much too short. Otherwise a major improvement for my system.”
“This antenna works very nicely. By adjusting its orientation I could bring in some weaker broadcasts. I live in Lansing and I can pick up the Fox coming from Flint. Haven't been able to pick up WLAV yet. Really like it, it works.”
“I bought this because it was recommended for FM stereo use. I already had powered Turk antennas that were generally poor, simple dipole antenna wires that did well but were very directionally dependent and moving a wire around is a lot less practical, easy, and aesthetically pleasing than an antenna like this, and already had a $10 RCA rabbit ears that did a pretty good job but I assumed the magnum Dynalab SR100 would be much better based upon reviews. It was sadly much worse, meaning much less effective, than the simple dipole wires or RCA rabbit ears I got on Amazon for $10. I tried everything and different system in different locations in the house and it was clearly inferior. Unfortunately, when it was deliver, my regular mailman who know to leave stuff like this by my front door, had a sub drive who just left it hanging out of the mailbox in the rain alll day so the box was wet through and through and when I opened it, I really ruined the box and through it away and felt I could not return it. I got screwed by the whole situation. It's better than no antenna and it looks cool, and has an interesting design in how you pull the 2 side to make them longer and the top shorter or visa versa, and thats really the only positives I can say about it. It is way over priced. If I paid $10 I would mind having thrown that money away. I live in a near a mountainous area north of NYC close to where another review had very positive results and that therefore was a deciding factor for me. I do not know why there was such a difference for me. It is impossible to get station 105.9FM WQXR NY with this antenna anywhere it is located in anywhere in my home in any of it's positions. I've wasted money and confused why the positive reviews are not only here but only many forums I am a member of. I have tried it with a Marantx 2252B, Sansui G8000, and Kenwood Super Eleven, all with the same disappointing results. I would give anything to be able to return it and be refunded and buy another of the RCA rabbit ears. Im sorry Magnum Dynalab, I really gave it the old college try and gave you every opportunity to shine and you couldn't, you simply are better than nothing, but Im not sure that it is better than using just a long piece of copper wire.”
