“I bought these primarily to protect my hardwood floors from the spiked stands of my Focal speakers. These work very well in this regard, they are easy to maneuver to get the spike to fit into the indent in the top. While small in diameter they are milled nicely with a great finish. As to a sonic benefit, for me, if there is one, it is slight, but since I really did not buy them for that I am very well pleased. Also, the slickness of these on the bottom makes them a snap to move my speakers around if I need to make adjustments without worrying about gouging the floor.”
