Overall I have had a good experience with the Link. I’ve used it for maybe 25 rounds. The only shots I noticed it missing are very short putts. The reason I only gave 4 stars is just battery life and occasionally it takes a few minutes to find a gps connection. It is super convenient to not have to keep my phone on me.

I loved my link but it came detached from my belt on my last round and is lost. The “find my link” function was not at all helpful, maybe the device could be fitted with a sounder linked to your phone to assist with detection? Also Maybe there could be a future option to attach a lanyard for additional security.

Hi Arccos , I love the feedback and data I get with the arccos system. Since getting fitted for new Ping 425 clubs and using the the across app. I won two of my clubs monthly competition and finished 3rd in another and improved my handicap by 3 shots and feel there much more to come next year. Without question the across system helps in giving great data in carry distance and accuracy with all my clubs. Clearly the best golf aid I have invested in by far.

Love the Product. I found it works best if you clip onto your belt on your side or back so your clothing doesn't cover the microphone. Last round it accurately picked up every stroke even putts. I am having issue with the button marking hole placement and adding penalty shots. Hit the button and nothing happens.

When it works, it's great. But it rarely works as advertised. Getting good GPS isn't a big issue. but whether I wear it on my belt, on my pocket, nothing seems to allow it capture all my shots. I'm constantly shooting 18 under par, which is obviously wrong! While I'm a fan of reviewing my round asap afterwards, this is just a frustrating experience to have to do every time. I'd love if it worked better, or we could mark our shots like you can with a putt so it knows that you're about to swing and to listen out and even if it didn't pick up the club at least you can have the shot in your tracking. If a newer version is brought out that improves on this ones shortcomings I'd hope Arccos offers those who bought v0.5 (like me, I bet they feel like beta testers for the product) an option to upgrade at a discounted price with a trade in. Especially when we pay quite a large annual subscription too to use the product! Also your - "how did arccos perform" question after every round is very annoying.

For me, the Link worked worse than using my phone. The GPS is consistently hard to get a good signal, so I am always standing on the first tee trying to hold it up to the sky, no matter which course I play. Once connected, the shot detection is very spotty. I've tried various clip locations, left, right, belt loop, belt, pocket etc but nothing seems to capture shots as well as my phone in my pocket. I always end up with a ~70 on 18 even though I am a 15 handicap ;) It's pointless if I need to go back after the round and add 15 or 20 shots, trying to remember their location. It would be great if the system relied on both the phone and link to detect, rather than one or the other. Or, if the link simply beeped after your swing so you know it detected the shot - otherwise you could click the button to mark a stroke at that spot - this would be a cool feature for penalty strokes, too. It really feels like Arccos phoned this one in (pun intended).

had extremely high expectations of Arccos Golf, going so far as purchasing the Caddie Link so I wouldn't need to keep my phone in my pocket while playing. Unfortunately the results haven't lived up to these lofty expectations. The GPS seems to have a difficult time working properly, many shots aren't recorded at all, and the overall data falls short of what it promises to deliver. I'm willing to keep trying for the next couple of months since I dropped $129 for the Caddie link, but if results don't improve I will be cancelling the monthly subscription and accepting the fact I wasted money on Arccos. Very disappointed. I have reported the "errors" after each round for what it is worth.

Hi Bob, sorry for the issues that you have been experiencing. You can use the diagnostic tool within the Arccos Caddie app to identify any faulty sensors which can replaced under their 2-year warranty if you contact our customer service team at starter@arccosgolf.com.
