I’ve been using APH for several years now and I can’t fault the service. I’ve panicked a few times worrying about reaching my terminal in time, but the staff on the desk are always there to reassure me. It’s always a clean and friendly environment.

After returning from a lovely holiday I was greeted at 1.30am by a staff member, who after stopping to chew the wasp, told me that the night manager wanted to see me. The night manager sheepishly explained that my car key and chip was now damaged, and my car wont start, as the immobiliser kicked in, and alarm goes off. We were stranded 3hours away from our house. After the AA arrived, we managed to get into a Travelodge at 6am, having sat for over 3.5hrs in APH reception, mainly being ignored and not even offered a drink. The manager said the key was damaged on arrival. It was certainly not, as I am a diligent owner and fully aware of the condition of my key, that i left with them. We travelled home by train (10am) the next day, at our expense, and I travelled back via train the same day, and arrived back to Manchester at 10pm with the spare key. The overall "key" damage experience cost me in excess of £200, with Taxi / train fares / Travelodge. All i wanted was "some honesty", and hands up, saying, "yes sorry, something happened when you left your key with APH", rather than it was damaged when you left it. After all, they had moved the car a couple of times whilst there in there compound for the week. - but nothing!. I filled in a complaint form ( number 3550) and still awaiting a call back from them.........Generally not good!!!. On a positive, their was a night staff member, who may have been fully aware of what actually happened to my key, felt guilty, and offered myself/Partner a lift to the local Travelodge at 6am after his shift had finished. Or he may have felt sorry for the stranded couple. Think his name was Steve ( a Driver) I wonder if i will ever get a call regarding my complaint and an apology?????...... Im still waiting :(
