“Excellent service. Collected the car and brought it back in about 5 mins from my call, and was good enough to do it to our airport hotel rather than the airport.”
“This was the first time we have used a M&G service, and we used some Tesco Vouchers to do so. The instructions received were pretty good, and the actual service received was excellent, the chap was waiting when we arrived at the right place, and when we returned he met us at the terminal within a few minutes of us calling. The only negative was that, in spite of the instructions we mistakenly followed the signs for Meet & Greet which is the wrong place, and very hard to back out of. Perhaps a warning to NOT follow the M&G signs would be helpful.”

Return Collection was prompt and the gentleman really helpful and polite.
Initial drop-off was very poor however; we were circa 20 minutes late due to excessively heavy rain and partial road closures. We called the collection number for a second time on arrival as we hadn’t been met by anyone for 15+ minutes since arriving and I wanted to check we’d not missed a stage etc.
A man then walked up to our car and said very curtly “what part of my instructions didn’t you understand”? He was very abrupt and overbearing and I was glad not to be a single female driver. I wasn’t sure what he was making reference to as he didn’t explain, as it was still heavily raining we went to the back of my vehicle where I lifted my boot so we both could get undercover and I started to take the suitcases out. At this point, I said I don’t understand explaining that we had called for a second time as we were conscious we were 20 mins later than advised due to weather/roads etc. and didn’t want to be further late into the terminal. He said “I told you to park in area C this is area B”. Our car was in the bay immediately in front of the sign ‘c’, to which he responded to me “it is too early to explain to the likes of you”.
When returning to Stansted I could see from the airport side of the barriers I had indeed been 6 feet into the area B when I’d arrived and not 6 feet the other side in area C. Whilst this unintentional mistake was mine, I’m not convinced it justified such an abrupt and condescending manner regardless of the hour of the day.
If it wasn’t for the fact that the returning experience which we was the dreading went well it would be a firm ‘no’ to recommending.
