“Whilst it was convenient and very simple, I felt the service lacked the “meet & greet” aspect altogether.
We were neither met nor greeted.
Upon arrival, we followed the signs and drove into a space in a lane. From there we took our bags and headed for the meet & greet inside, by following the signs. We then inputted our information into a touchscreen and were given a receipt and a man appeared and took our key.
When we arrived back at Manchester, we followed the signs again for meet and greet and again we used a touchscreen to scan the receipt and our key was made available to us.
We then made our way to the car by using the map on the wall to find out where it was parked.
As convenient and straightforward as that is, it doesn’t really do what it says on the tin.
All being said and done, I would use the service again, but knowing now how it works, it would be a lot less disappointing finding that it’s not actually a meet & greet service.
It’s more like a normal multi storey car park, where someone moves your car for you arriving back.”
“Drop off was great, pick up wasn't, we have blue badges, my son has heart defects and is in a wheelchair, I have a heart condition but they always park the car as far away from the key pick up as possible despite me advising them to please park the car near the pick and one of the blue badges being left on the dash of the car. When I said this to the man where I collected the keys he laughed and said its not that far! It may not be that far to him but when my heart rate is 240bpm from the walk from the terminal to key collection and we have to manoeuvre a wheelchair and 3 suitcases all the way to the end of the parking garage then it is too far.”
“We used the Meet and Greet T2 at Manchester airport and it really took the stress away of trying to find an available car parking space before the flight! It was also super easy to collect the car after we had flown back. I would highly recommend.”
