“Great location and never had an issue finding a space. The only thing I would like to see is if each space had a number to make it easier to find your car on returning to it.”
“Excellent location for the airport. Only downfall is that the exit/entry ramps are hard to locate and difficult to understand. Unfortunately I ended up exiting the car park by accident. However APH were excellent at helping me with what I needed to do to avoid paying again for the stay I had pre paid.”
“Very easy to navigate. Lift takes you straight through to T2 departure lounge. Worth paying the extra. Used the shuttle bus car park in June. This is so much better. Will definitely use again.”
“My flight was cancelled due to Storm Amy which meant I missed my scheduled connection flight to Manchester and there was no way to get back to my car (or England!) before my scheduled parking time expired. After the stress of sorting out another flight/additional accommodation, etc I tried to amend my car park booking. I wasn’t able to via my confirmation email link. I tried to rung but the office is closed at the weekend. I tried their chat via WhatsApp, but this was AI (as it was the weekend) and was unable to help. I eventually got to my car 13 hours after my booked time (due to Storm Amy, not my tardiness) and was forced to pay an additional £25 to get the barrier to open for me. Not a happy customer.
I’ve given 2 stars instead of 1 as my car was safe and secure, the booking was easy and the directions sent was good. All stars lost are due to customer service and lack of understanding during a major storm event that wreaked havoc to air traffic, but was not taken into account, even though I tried my best to be proactive.”
“Easy to find and loads of spaces after first few levels. Well signed to departure and on arrivals not far to walk all undercover. Had to get assistance at barrier as did not recognise number plate but assistance there when pressed button and let out.”
“The booking process through APH can't be faulted but for such a new car park the logistics aren't great.
The car park was very busy on arrival which meant I had to park on level 8 (roof) which was fine as there was more space up there but the issue was on returning.
I started the descent and got down to level 5 before crawling to the exit over 25 minutes!
There are only two exit barriers which creates a bottle neck and a member of staff was "helping" by putting in the tokens.
When I asked him why there was such a big delay he blamed it on planes landing at the same time, who would have thought that planes would have landed at an airport and that people would be exiting the car park at the same time!
It really does put using the car park in doubt for the future especially as you pay top price for the convenience.”
“Access to T2 West MSCP could be better signed at the airport IMHO as it is at the furthest end of the airport parking. Once in it is best to head up to level 5 rather than looking for a random space. You do have to come outside once out of the lift but other than that it is a fairly bright with a good lift system.
Always make a note of where you park as it is easy to forget after a good holiday and can be stressful trying to find your car afterwards, especially if a lone traveller.”
