“We've used this car park since it opened as it's conveniently sited if you don't mind a bit of a walk to terminal 2. We have always pre-booked. We tend to use the night before bag drop and when we first used it some of the trip to departures was outside thankfully this is now all inside. However from arrivals on your return there is still a bit of an outside walk. From my point of view the only thing stopping it getting 5 stars is that on every occasion the ANPR entry to the car park has been trouble free but also on every visit (probably 5 visits) then trying to exit has been a hassle with the need to try all the exit lanes before we managed to escape. Not what you want after a long flight. Sort out the ANPR on exit please.”
“I had prepaid but went in wrong lane, and ANPR did not recognise car, so had to take token. On return, very helpful operator contacted at pay machine sorted it all out.
Entry lanes for prepaid car parking, and drop-off are confusing, badly lit, and cannot actually be seen. There is nothing physical eg cones, to prevent you going into wrong lane when there is a queue of cars waiting without realising the two empty unused barriers are just for drop off only.”
