“The handover was very efficient and the photos of my car were fairly good, were sent through to me very quickly. The issue started when we informed the parking that we would be delayed due to the Iran war. We told them as soon as we knew that we would be delayed and kept them up to date. They then told us that the cost of the extra ten days would be £250. We were very shocked at this as it was in no way our fault that we would be delayed. We thought that the parking people would be a bit more forgiving. After emailing we spoke to support and the fee was reduced to £200, still too high (more than we paid for the 14 days, this was only 10 days) but we accepted it. Then we had an email saying pay it now so that we can release your car, it made it sound like they were going to keep my car hostage. They were very efficient when we phoned to arrange pick up. So although the actual parking was very good, the extra cost was a nasty sting in the tail.”
