“Meet and greet means there should be someone there to do exactly that, I called as instructed only to be answered by a most unfriendly person, it took more than ten minutes for a driver to arrive too, he took our details including return flight number and time. On our arrival back in the UK my wife called (again, as instructed) only to have someone saying we should have been back 12 hours previously and they DIDN'T have our flight number even though this was taken at drop off, after flying from Vietnam for a trip time of 21 hours this isn't the welcome we expected, it then took more than 30 minutes for our car to be delivered back to us, partly due to the driver not being called and him also being in terminal 5 not 4, the inside of the windscreen on the driver side was covered in greasy hand marks making it difficult to see out, also the passenger seat had been adjusted all the way back, so obviously someone else had been in the car. Having used aph for many years this was our first and last time of using "meet and greet" and will now be using a different operator our future holidays.”
“As I've not flown from LHR before I assumed that the postcode given for APH M&G would be as below, namely TW6 1EW. This is incorrect and further down the message it gives the correct one, namely TW6 3XA. In retrospect I should have read the instructions with much more concentration on the post codes, but why have any mention of the incorrect postcode when that turns out to be for the airport itself rather than the car park at T4
This just led to me going to the main airport rather than T4. When I realised I was going to be late at the car park, I had to call them and fortunately they understood the problem and gave me the correct post code. Although very stressed by this time all ended well and as T$ was quiet I made the flight in time.
Next time I go to LHR, given this experience and the filthy state of my car on collection I'll go by taxi.
