“Excellent service. Easy drop and very convenient. Car was ready when we returned. Paid extra to have car cleaned which was great. Would highly recommend. Massive Thankyou to Alfred who was manager on the drop off day.”
“APH Meet and Greet gave us very good service. It was all very easy to drop off with clear instructions. On return we phoned the number we were given as soon as we had collected our baggage. We were told where to go to collect the car in the short stay car park and it would be there in 15-20 mins. A quick and easy handover. Would highly recommend”
“Our Car was returned to us with a large crack in the front windscreen and will now need replacement. No notice was given to us of damage caused to the vehicle on collection of the keys and stafff were not present on site to speak with once we returned. Their telephone support contact would only proivde an email with no further information or support offered.”
“Easy instructions.
We were very early but APH stood the cost of the additional parking time.
Rang from the baggage reclaim and the car was ready and waiting by the time we got up to the car park.
Tesco Clubcard vouchers accepted.”
“I have used this service before but was a little disappointed this time. I arrived later than by booked time but rang accordingly to inform as requested, when 30mins away from the car park.
On arrival I was asked to pay the £7.50 car park charge and told it wouldn’t be reimbursed and if I wanted to complain I could do so separately.”
“I have used AHP a lot in the past but the last 2 times I have had delays.. the number you give to call is either never being answered or goes straight to answer machine.. this means we have had to wait. On my return from a tiring trip in Sweden and Finland last night my wife and I had to wait in the cold for 30 mins until the driver arrived with our car.. this is 2 times in succession. I had another trip this morning and I called 30 mins before abd again answer machine.. then I called again within 10 minutes and I got an answer. The point of meet and greet is the car is there for you”
“Having used APH for Gatwick on previous occasions, it was a no brainer when deciding on parking at Heathrow. Firstly, it is badly signposted for APH. When we eventually got to the level where you park up, we looked all round to try & find the APH Meet & Greet, but there was nothing. No signs, no notice, no person, nothing. In the end, we asked someone who advised us to take a lift, walk across the car park etc., all this with suitcases & having to keep eye on the time. All we could find were 2 men in high-viz jackets chatting away who, when we asked, nodded in the direction of a cardboard stand marked as the Meet & Greet for MBW. We asked if he knew where the APH station was & he muttered with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, something about that being the place & took our keys. He gave us a slip of paper telling us to phone the number on return, once we'd collected our luggage and off he went! We had no option but to go with it & trust the car would be there on our return, but we were far from happy about it. When we returned, we followed the instructions on the slip of paper, got to the same cardboard stand & no-one was in attendance. Eventually he turned up, took the slip, bent down and produced our keys from a cardboard shelf in his stand and that was it.
It is so totally different to APH Gatwick. There, it's slick, smooth, organised & friendly and you feel safe in the knowledge that your car is in good hands. Not at Heathrow. Quite frankly, you don't know who has custody of your car, where it will be during your trip away and as for keeping your keys secure, anyone could walk up to that stand, grab keys and help themselves to a car(s). That wasn't what we paid for. We booked believing our car would be in a secure compound, along the lines of Gatwick. It doesn't make any mention in the paperwork that they clearly sub-contract out to other companies. If we'd known, we wouldn't have booked and certainly won't be using them again.”
