“We have previously used APH at Gatwick and had a very good experience. So was confident we would receive a similar service. However this service is run by MBW and it's not massively apparent when you arrive to drop off your car, which can be confusing but all was good. However when we returned after 19 hours of flying, feeling exhausted - the service was diabolical. We rung as instructed in baggage claim, after collecting our luggage- walked over to the collection point, only to find no member of staff on the desk plus no car! The car took 30 minutes to arrive - as we live one hour away from Heathrow, we could have been half way home! In this time we saw lots of people collect their car from a rival company. The explanation was "not enough staff" - sorry APH - not good enough for tired travellers.”
“There was nobody at the desk when we arrived, despite us phoning an hour in advance to give our arrival time. we waited more than 10 minutes. When he did arrive he didnt speak english very well and his attitude did not inspire me with confidence when handing over my car key. On return from our trip we called when we had collected baggage. Again there was nobody at the desk and we had to wait 15 mins for the car to arrive.
Both on arrival and retrun we couldnt help but notcce that other meet and greet desks were manned all the time, and people dropping off cars or returning to pick up did not have to wait.”
“Although the service was very good the instructions for staying left etc and car park entry were not good and ended up getting charged for drop off stopped and rang for instructions from your help desk was told to read the instructions which as a single traveller is impossible to check when driving and also illegal . By the time I had driven through the drop of twice and car park wrong one once racked up £17.50 before even dropping the car off . Other APH parking much easier to use at other airports”
