I elected to have my car to have a clean and valet for £50 whilst in care of MBW, your agent company. On arrival and payment for the valet I chose to pay in CASH. There was no mechanism or process to give a receipt for payments in cash. We scratched it on the car details sheet and I photographed it.
On departure the “parking ticket” was submitted into the machine but it was not explained that the submission is only valid for 15minutes. I arrived at the car park exit gate after 22 minutes and the gate surcharge was +£6. The “assistance button” person was helpful and after some delay he agreed I need not pay.
Clients should be told that there is a 15 mins. limit for the exit ticket validity.”
