“Room was cold despite turning heating up. Awake most of the night due to machinery whirring constantly at new building multi storey car park. Limited choice of meals in the evening when have allergies to gluten/lactose/ sulphites. Positive- convenient for South Terminal, Gatwick. This being main reason for choosing Hilton. Disappointed with other above details, as above.”
“The review is regarding the combination of the hotel and the short stay Gatwick South terminal valet parking provision offered by APH. The hotel was comfortable and clean with a bed suitable for a good night sleep prior to departure. The parking was easy to find and crucially just a short walk with luggage to the onsite hotel. The hotel is then an equally short walk to departures at South terminal. The hotel restaurant was also reasonably priced with a variety of food options, service is of a good standard. You will not receive your Hilton honors points through APH but the combined price saving on parking and stay is excellent. Key drop off without fuss saves time and hassle on departure. The whole process is well throught through and well executed. Recommended.”
“Clean room but dingy and tired elsewhere. Ordered room service which came almost cold and was extortionate for what it was. Staff were disinterested and rude. The member of staff who delivered the room service made unsolicited and unwelcome comments about my appearance and then had the audacity to ask for a tip. Overall a thoroughly unpleasant experience and wouldn't stay there again.”
“The hotel is really convenient for the airport and parking. The staff at check in were not particularly helpful or friendly. We were just handed a key card and had to ask where I room was. I have a Hilton Honors cared, but this was not able to be used as the booking was made through Gatwick Parking. So if you want to earn rewards book the hotel directly and the parking separately.”
“Bed very comfortable but overall experience not very good. Food and drink very expensive which would be okay if the quality and presentation were acceptable. Twenty pounds for a Tanquery gin and tonic and was presented in a thick cheap water glass!!!”
“Booked this in conjunction with APH parking. Room was fine and dinner (we only stayed 1 night) was excellent. The only problem we had was finding the hotel from the bus drop off point- more signs or a paragraph on the booking confirmation would help. Really convenient for catching our flight the following morning.”
