“Going out was great - but coming home - I was number 11 in the queue to be answered. This took over 15 mins so we couldn't leave the airport until we had confirmation as it was freezing outside. Then stood for over 25 mins waiting for the car. Perhaps you need more staff to answer the phones.”

“Made the booking on line , paid and received a confirmation with reference number. So far so good. We are instructed to call 10 minutes before arriving at the airport which we did.
Now the problem starts. The operator has no record of my booking. My name , car registration and reference are not on the system. I’m informed that APH is merely a booking service and not a parking operator per se. I’m told they don’t have a phone number for APH and I should email them. ( this is now 2 hours before my flight leaves so I’m not confident of a reply in time)
I do find a phone number and call. I’m in a queue for 30 minutes waiting for my call to be answered. Once answered the operator puts me on hold while he investigates. After 25 minutes I’m cut off. I call again, eventually told it’s sorted and to call the car park operator, which I do. They tell me that they can’t pick up my car because they don’t have any paperwork from APH so their drivers are not insured to drive my car!!
Probably the most stressful way to start a holiday, not to mention the potential cost of a missed flight
