“Convenient for access to airport via the bus service from car park . A couple of minor glitches on returning home on 6th September at 1 am. The bus from the airport took about 15 -20 minutes to arrive and the automatic number plate reader at the car park exit needed 2 approaches by our car before it raised the barrier.”
“Positives: It's close to the airport, only 5 mins on the bus. It's also only 5 mins from the M8. It's cheap, and cheaper still if booked through APH rather than direct on the airport website.
Negatives: The entire right half of the car park is now staff parking only, meaning there are only half the number of spaces for the public. There is an overflow section through gates at the back but when I was there, there were only about 5-6 cars in it despite it looking like it was big enough for 5-6000. Also, they've let brambles grow through the fence down the left hand side of the main car park meaning one whole row of spaces was unusable.
Notes: If it says on your booking confirmation "pull up to the barrier and wait for a ticket to be issued", don't, because it isn't, it's all ticketless these days.”
