“Whilst its a great service, as in charging and parking.. it was very expensive for two days parking… it’s a shame you can’t get the same service at the airport as an additional 30 minutes, added to your home journey by going the opposite way to you need is not great.
On return there was a client not prepared for his check in and taking ages, due to his incompetence. So the queue was long, and only one poor lady working.. not great with incoming and outgoing clients. Which adds an additional 15 minutes up your journey… We were also sent the wrong way to find the car so walked around the car park and it was three rows further up than directed.
It could be so much better with some investment and imagination. I don’t know if we will use again due to the additional 25 minutes on way and 45 minutes of time it took on way back. Especially as it wasn’t a bargain.”
“Being new to owning an EV, I was nervous about finding a working charge point close to Gatwick when traveling out on a business trip last week. A quick Google search found APH Gatwick with their EV charging service so I gave it a try. Everything worked as described - dropped off the car and key, and while I was away it was charged up to 100% (which I could watch happen via my cars' 'connected' app), giving me the confidence I needed to drive back home to the West Country”
“Everything was straight forward from booking to arrival and the nicely laid out parking facility, the friendly staff and prompt service when we returned. Thank you.”
“Paid for basic ev parking (30 kWh). Alas on returning our Nissan Leaf (max capacity when new is only 30 kWh !) was half full. Range gone from 16 miles to 64 miles when APH stopped the charge. Staggered that they did not know a Leaf only takes 3.3kw not the 7kw the ev unit can output. Sat in car park for 90 mins before had enough charge to safely drive 50 miles home. Maybe some training to the car park lads? If the car is half full and says 64 mile range when you unplug it, something ain't right on a 30 kWh parking package..stop and think before declaring 'job's a good un'...Very polite service, though a warm drink while waiting to charge would not have gone amiss.”
