“We arrived at the airport for parking at about 4am the signs for the car park is very poorly signed we went past an we were lost the camera van what goes a round the airport after people who stop on red lines pulled up a long side us was not helpful he said I can fine you £300 pound if you stop we said we were lost but he was not helpful at all”
“i prefer long stay jet parks 1. mid stay3 car park is a little to far to pull your cases when your getting older long stay is the furthest away but you hop straight on a coach”
“Not too far to walk to the departure hall but if it was raining then it would be a different story - getting on a plane wet through.
Trying to get out of the gate on the way home was somewhat of a nightmare with people trying to reverse out of the gate because it wouldn't recognise their number plate. They have to get the whole queue that has formed behind them to reverse up - what a great end to a holiday! We tried to find a different exit but it would appear that there is only one per section of car park so we had to go through the whole rigmarole again! Just shows how flexible a human being on the gate could be in circumstances like this.
Would I recommend it? Doesn't seem as though there is an alternative. It would be much better if there was an APH car park off-site with a shuttle bus like Manchester or Birmingham.”
